Rocky Hollow Horse Camp at Mt. Rogers is located on over 50 acres off Rocky Hollow Road, on the southern side of Troutdale, Va., just under the shoulder of the highest mountain in the state. And, it’s only four miles from Sarah’s Fox Creek General Store.
Many families have been coming to Mt. Rogers National Recreation area to ride for years to enjoy the natural beauty and serenity of the Virginia Highlands. Rocky Hollow was established in 2003 in order to provide a family atmosphere for fellow trail riding enthusiasts.
On addition to some of the best horseback riding trails in Virginia, Rocky Hollow offers a variety of cabins, as well as camping and RV sites. Ameniyies include a Bat House, a 39-Stall Barn, Dump Station, Picket Lines, BBQ Facilities and Fire Rings on each site.
